Excellent little micro pub, small bar, upstairs seating, a small rear sun trap court yard area. A rotating range of local brewed beers 1 which sells at only £2.20p a pint. Behind the bar is a feature place fireplace which has been converted to a gin display area. The Hop is also dog friendly bar, so it's top class beer in friendly bar with a heritage railway just 5 minutes walk away. 🚂🚂🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺😜
There are a lot of beer options in Rawtenstall now, but this is by far the best. Bright, quirky, relaxed and intimate. Lots of yellow ales. Best kept beer in town.

Great place with a fab selection of real ales. Changed management recently. Very hit and miss with the customer service. Most staff are friendly and quick to greet and serve with good knowledge of the ales being served. However one employee is rude, disinterested knows nothing about the drinks she is serving and lacks any kind of customer service training. Will blank customers waiting and argue with them as well as barking orders at customers to "form a straight line to the bar" i would like to add that the staff in general are fab. And its not a one off bad customer service complaint but is consistant with just the one employee who if on duty spoils a decent real ale pub.
Great place for real ale and a chance to sit outside. Would be 5 Stars if I hadn't had the odd poor pint! Need to keep an eye on quality control 😀

A decent pub and they serve good food which is fairly cheap. Its part of the Greene King chain and so you kind of know what you're getting. The outside seating area is a nice addition. They now do a carvery, which is really good value for money. Staff are courteous and service is prompt. There is an adult only area which you can eat in, and this is a God send as it does get packed with young families. Parking is easy.
A newly refurbished pub and carvery, which stands in the entrance to the new retail park in Rawtenstall. There is plenty of parking spaces, outside tables and play area. There is a choice of a carvery or a separate menu, the fish and chips i can recommend. Wednesday evening is quiz night where you will need a smart phone, so if you want a quiet meal choose another night. The staff are helpful and courteous, and the new refurbishment is very nice. Drinks are a wee bit pricey but all together a very pleasant place to spend a few hours.
